Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is most well-known for his role in the movie 'Birdman. As a versatile actor, he is able to perform both dramatic and comedic roles. In his career, he has appeared in a variety of romantic roles and also was a part of action-thrillers. The passion for performing arts started at the age of teen. He began to try stand-up comedy during his 20s. His comedy career was not successful, though it helped pave the way to his acting career. Since he wasn't able to make it as the actor of his dreams, he chose to be a TV cameraman. As a television station realised he wanted to work in front of a camera. He was offered a TV show and he appeared in several episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. It was no surprise that he quickly became a popular television actor. He launched an acting career in film with huge goals and gained a lot of fame with his comedic roles. The actor gained further recognition when he portrayed the eponymous Batman from Tim Burton's Batman. Over time the actor's acting abilities were improved, and he started to explore production and directing. He received several nominations and awards for his role in the film Birdman.
